If not, you instantaneously need to mingle with the community of frequent computer games users or read the article “The Language of Video Games” where a group of Polish and Ukrainian students presents the results of the survey conducted among 51 respondents from a few European countries, asking them whether they would be able to decipher both abbreviations and computer slang. The outcome is quite startling, as lagging behind linguistic changes can lead to the lack of communication and consequently deepen the generation gap. Check for yourself!
