Student, your creativity has the power to change cities

Do you have a head full of ideas and want to have a real impact on the future of your city, caring about the climate and clean air? We invite you to participate in CLIMATHON GZM.

Registration is now open for this 24-hour creativity marathon, which will take place on November 5–6 at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. This metropolitan event is part of a global initiative taking place simultaneously in over 100 cities around the world.

What is it about? This year, we are looking for ideas on how to keep the air in the city clean in order to protect the climate. Air pollution in Poland is still a serious problem. Let's get our breath back.

Who is it for? The competition is open to students of all universities throughout Poland (first-cycle, second-cycle, postgraduate, and doctoral studies). You don't have to be an expert on smog or know how to program. All you need is an open mind and a desire to create. Every idea counts, even the simplest ones that can change everyday habits.

What you can gain?

• Grand prize: PLN 12,000 for the authors of the best idea (there are also prizes for second and third place: PLN 7,000 and PLN 5,000).
• Support from experts and mentors during a 24-hour session.
• Great satisfaction from creating real solutions for climate protection and clean air.
