Cooperation for development and security was the subject of discussion during the 17th edition of the European Economic Congress in Katowice.
"Science for the Economy" was the theme of an engaging panel attended by Professor Marek Pawełczyk, Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, which also highlighted the need for such cooperation.

The Congress also provided an opportunity for meetings and the exchange of ideas among the many representatives of companies, institutions, universities, and public administration gathered in the capital of the region.

Professor Aleksandra Kuzior, Dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology, discussed the expansion of existing cooperation with managers and entrepreneurs, including Grzegorz Lot, President of Tauron PE, and Jacek Siatkowski, Director of the Katowice Branch of the Business Center Club.

There were also meaningful exchanges with media representatives. With Zenon Nowak, President of Polska Press, and Marcin Zasada, Editor-in-Chief of Dziennik Zachodni, Professor Kuzior raised the issue of promoting academic programs, while Jovan Protić, Vice President of the Management Board at Ringier Axel Springer Polska, expressed interest in creating internship opportunities for students of the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology.
