We are proud to announce that our staff members, Dr. Eng. Aleksandra Czupryna-Nowak and Dr. Eng. Beata Hysa from the Department of Economics and Informatics at the Faculty of Organization and Management, visited students from Czerwionka-Leszczyny to support their participation in the PBL (Project Based Learning) initiative, conducted as part of the "Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB)" program.

Two student teams took part in the project, working on diverse topics. The first team, composed of Amanda Ślęzak and Klaudia Rarata, focused on the topic "Social Media: Between Dream and Reality." The students analyzed the differences between influencers’ online images and reality.

The second team, consisting of Jakub Kuś and Bartłomiej Orzechowski, tackled the project "Facing Unemployment – How Statistics Show the Future of the Job Market." They analyzed unemployment data, learning how to interpret results and draw conclusions about future labor market trends.

Throughout the process, our staff provided expert guidance, helping students develop their analytical and research skills. The teams’ project results will be presented during the PROJEKT POLITECHNIKA Conference, which took place on October 15, 2024, at the Educational and Congress Center of the Silesian University of Technology.
