As part of the "Excellence Initiative - Research University" program, in the summer semester of 2023/2024, a PBL project was implemented at the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology. The project was aimed at high school students from schools with which the university has signed cooperation agreements.

The project focused on the field of personal entrepreneurship and was supervised by Dr. Eng. Marek Krannich, with the participation of students from the Fine Arts High School in Zabrze.
The topic of the project was: "Business Planning as an Element of Building Personal Entrepreneurship."

The project prepared high school students for independent activity within individual entrepreneurship by developing skills in business planning through the creation of a business plan, following a standardized document format.
The participating students developed the ability to take a holistic approach to planning and initiating their own autonomous entrepreneurship by using detailed methodologies and analytical techniques from standard business plans.

Moreover, they became aware of the possibilities for shaping their own life paths by engaging in the launch of independent business activities and cultivating a mindset geared toward managing a small business with long-term growth prospects. This included analyzing business risks and eliminating emerging competitive threats.

Achieved Project Goals:

• Developed an understanding of entrepreneurial foundations in a turbulent environment.
• Created a business plan for a tattoo studio.
• Developed the ability to prepare demand analyses for the business plan.
• Defined the method of forming and recruiting executive staff for the planned venture.
• Developed an approach to modeling financial forecasts for the planned business.
• Acquired the ability to promote the business idea through marketing strategies targeting potential audience groups.
