<p>Dnia 12 kwietnia 2024 r. odbyła się wycieczka studentów zagranicznych studiów Zarządzanie i Inżynieria Produkcji (II stopień) do Centralnej Oczyszczalni Ścieków w Gliwicach. Organizatorem wyjazdu była dr inż. Simona Kliś. Dzięki uprzejmości i fachowej wiedzy pana Romana Timlera, który oprowadzał grupę po COŚ oraz tłumaczeniu dostarczonemu przez panią Simonę Kliś, studenci mieli okazję zapoznać się z pracą oczyszczalni ścieków. Wycieczka obejmowała część technologiczną oczyszczania ścieków, obszar wytwarzania i odbioru biogazu, a przede wszystkim gospodarkę odpadami i osadami ściekowymi w tej oczyszczalni wraz z możliwością ich późniejszego zagospodarowania. Na koniec studenci mieli okazję zobaczyć automatyczne centrum sterowania całą oczyszczalnią. Wizyta była bardzo interesująca dla studentów zagranicznych, ponieważ nie mieli okazji odwiedzić oczyszczalni ścieków, nawet w swoim rodzimym kraju. Chcielibyśmy wyrazić naszą wdzięczność Panu Romanowi oraz całemu zespołowi COŚ za ogrom przekazanych ciekawych informacji.</p>
A trip to sewage treatment plant
On April 12, 2024 a trip of foreign students of Management and Production Engineering (2nd degree) to the Central Sewage Treatment Plant in Gliwice took place. The organizer of the trip was Ph.D Eng. Simona Kliś. Thanks to the kindness and professional knowledge of Mr. Roman Timler, who showed the group around the CSTP, and the translation provided by Ms. Simona Kliś, the students had the opportunity to learn about the work of the sewage treatment plant. The tour included the technological part of sewage treatment, the area of biogas production and collection, and, above all, waste and sewage sludge management in this treatment plant along with the possibility of their subsequent management. At the end, students had the opportunity to see the automatic control center of the entire sewage treatment plant. The visit was very interesting for foreign students because they did not have the opportunity to visit sewage treatment plants, even in their home country. We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Roman and the entire CSTP team for the wealth of interesting information provided.
