Recruitment for EU Career Ambassador at the Silesian University of Technology – let's get started!

The Silesian University of Technology, together with the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO), is announcing recruitment for the position of EU Career Ambassador for the 2026/2027 academic year. This is a unique opportunity to represent the European Union at our university, gain valuable experience and have a real impact on the professional development of students.

Why is it worth it?
As an EU Career Ambassador:
• you will gain up-to-date knowledge about job and internship opportunities in EU institutions,
• you will establish cooperation with students and ambassadors from all over Europe,
• you will develop your public speaking, marketing and HR skills,
• you will take part in professional preparatory training and receive support from a mentor,
• you will meet representatives of EU institutions,
• you will receive a letter of recommendation confirming your achievements.

Your tasks
• acting as a point of contact for students interested in a career in the EU,
• organising events, presentations and participating in job fairs,
• maintaining an active presence on social media,
• cooperating with university media and building a network of contacts,
• preparing mailings and disseminating information about job opportunities in the EU,
• answering questions about recruitment to EU institutions.

Requirements
• organising or participating in at least one event related to the role of ambassador,
• devoting a minimum of two hours per week to ambassadorial activities,
• regular contact with the EU Careers coordinator,
• participation in online training organised by EPSO,
• reliable reporting on completed tasks,
• very good communication skills, ability to organise and build relationships,
• willingness to learn and share knowledge.

Who can apply?
• EU citizens,
• persons fluent in English and the language of the country of study,
• students of the Silesian University of Technology who will be enrolled at the university for the entire duration of the programme (October 2026 – September 2027),
• persons available for mandatory training in October 2026.

Required documents
1. CV in Europass format (in Polish),
2. Cover letter in Polish with a brief justification of your desire to participate in the programme.
