Mechanical Testing Laboratory and Numerical Simulations
- Name of laboratory: Mechanical Testing Laboratory and Numerical Simulations
The Laboratory carries out mechanical tests of finished products (single elements as well as complex systems), samples made in accordance with applicable standards and non-standard samples prepared by the client. It is possible to carry out tests at elevated and lowered temperatures.

- Research offer and scope of services (research opportunities)
We perform comprehensive tests for industrial customers operating in the energy, mechanical and automotive sectors. We offer tests to assess the basic mechanical properties of widely understood materials as well as specialized tests to assess the durability of materials both at room temperature and at elevated temperatures.
The Mechanical Testing Laboratory has modern research equipment enabling the implementation of research in the field of:
- determination of basic mechanical properties (in accordance with PN-EN ISO 6892-1, PN-EN 10045-1, PN-EN ISO 6507-1),
- fracture mechanics (in accordance with PN-EN ISO 12737),
- thermo-mechanical fatigue (according to TMF-Standard),
- low-cycle fatigue (according to PN-84/H-04334).
Research implementation:
- Hardness measurements: Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers,
- Impact bending tests,
- Impact tensile tests,
- Static tensile tests (temperature: room, lowered and elevated),
- Low-cycle fatigue tests (temperature: room and elevated).
