Composites and Plastics Laboratory
- Name of laboratory: Composites and Plastics Laboratory
Plastics and polymer matrix composites team conducts research and didactic activity in the subject field. The detailed area of activity covers the design of structures and the development of fiber reinforced polymer laminates technology, the development and analysis of the applicability of functional composites and nanocomposites, processing of plastics - extrusion techniques, 3D printing, the use of curable resins, as well as the recycling of plastics and polymer matrix composites. Our research and technological equipment allow for the production of metal composite materials based on light metal alloys in the process of gravity casting, centrifugal casting and infiltration as well as research on their structure and properties, e.g.: mechanical and tribological. - Laboratory equipment (list)
