At the Science Popularization Centre we teach how to talk about science " in simple language" - also in English. We had the opportunity to host PhD students from Poland and abroad who took part in workshops on scientific communication and self-presentation led by the director of the Science Popularization Centre prof. Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska and deputy director of the Promotion and Communication Centre Iwona Flanczewska-Rogalska. The workshops were held as part of the project "SUBLime - Sustaiable Building Lime Applications via Circular Economy and Biomimetic Approaches", implemented by 6 European universities: Silesian University of Technology (Poland), Universidade do Minho (Portugal), Universidad de Granada (Spain), Technische Universitat Darmstadt (Germany), Technische Universiteit Delft (Netherlands), Universiteit Gent (Belgium), as well as companies and industry organizations from Belgium, Spain, Germany, Denmark and the UK.
