Creation of an environment enabling support for technological entrepreneurship as a result of:
• coordination of projects aimed at full use of the intellectual potential of the Silesian University of Technology,
• transfer and commercialization of emerging solutions,
• continuous improvement of business qualifications among students and researchers of the Silesian University of Technology,
• increasing the level of competitiveness of enterprises as a result of the transfer of solutions developed at the Silesian University of Technology,
• participation in the education of competent staff, which are the foundation of an economy based on innovation,
• stimulating cooperation between organizations co-financing the improvement of research effectiveness and partners,
applying the principles of legal protection and management of the resulting intellectual property.
Vision
The Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology as a unit of an effective system for identifying innovative solutions, methods of their protection and assessing the possibility of economic application. The Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer gains recognition among the business community and supports the University in the process of real impact on the socio-economic environment.
Values
The Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer as a unit responsible for protecting all manifestations of creative activity, supports, advises and improves the efficiency of all existing processes.
The constant pursuit of the transfer and commercialization of results is a kind of system of creating intangible assets, based on the appreciation of the creative activity of the University's employees, protection of these rights and their skilful use.
