HOW TO PATENT
CENTER FOR INCUBATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER INVITES EMPLOYEES AND STUDENTS TO USE THE SERVICES OF PATENT ATTORNEYS WORKING AT CITT.
Assistance provided within the CITT and concerning industrial and intellectual property rights consists, in particular, in
Providing information on legal regulations,
preparation and negotiation of license agreements, implementation agreements, agreements on joint ownership of rights, and other agreements concerning exclusive rights
providing information about the rights of Authors of submitted inventions, utility models and industrial designs, including the rights to remuneration for the use of the invention or design by the owner,
preparing, in cooperation with Designers, documentation concerning applications for inventions, utility models, industrial designs, as well as trademarks belonging to the Technical University,
keeping the Register of Submission of Intellectual Property (SIP).
We invite Creators to submit their ideas as SIP. The subject of SIP can be technical solutions, e.g. methods of obtaining or devices, as well as other forms of intellectual property, e.g. software or databases.
Patent Attorneys assist Creators in the identification of goods if a solution may be the subject of an application for invention, utility model or industrial design.
Notification of SIP should be made each time on the application form for intellectual property, which can be downloaded from our website, together with a statement for persons not employed at the University of Technology (e.g. students, retirees).
The Patent Attorney should be provided with a working description of the solution with an indication of the nearest state of the art, i.e. similar solutions in a given field described in the patent and scientific literature.
Detailed issues related to intellectual property rights, including payment of remuneration to inventors are governed by the Intellectual Property Management Regulations.
