CITT’S COOPERATION WITH PACTT
In December 2015, representatives of the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology participated in the co-creation of the Polish Association of Centers for Technology Transfer (PACTT). The other entities that participated in the creation of PACTT were the following entities:
- AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow - Centre for Technology Transfer,
- Gdańsk University of Technology - Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer,
- Silesian University of Technology - Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre CITT,
- Wrocław University of Science and Technology - Wrocław Center of Technology Transfer,
- Jagiellonian University - Centre for Technology Transfer CITTRU,
- West Pomeranian University of Technology Szczecin - The Regional Centre of Innovation and Technology Transfer (RCIiTT ZUT).
According to the information provided on the official PACTT website, the Polish Association of Centers for Technology Transfer (PACTT) is a voluntary association of representatives from units responsible for the management and commercialization of intellectual property of Polish universities, research institutes and the Polish Academy of Sciences. The alliance is nationwide and currently has over 80 members.
PACTT aims to integrate the professional environment of technology transfer centres and develop the competences of employees of technology transfer centres, e.g. through the exchange of knowledge, experience or operating standards.
