On behalf of the organizers Katowice - City of Science and Silesian University of Technology, we cordially invite you to Katowice for the opening of the exhibition entitled "Maria Skłodowska-Curie. In Love with Science" and a meeting with us on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, a t 10:00 in spinPLACE, ul. Bankowa 5 in Katowice.
The exhibition scenario was based on the content of the book by prof. Tomasz Pospieszny.
The exhibition focuses on the life of the discoverer of polonium and radium, a woman who introduced humanity to the age of the atom with her research.
No biographical thread has been omitted
Maria Skłodowska-Curie has been portrayed on many levels and in many life situations, which is why she is no longer a serious figure from the monument.
