Area of Research Interest:
My research interests are centered on environmental biotechnology and sustainable bioresource valorization, with a focus on the biotechnological conversion of agri-food waste, particularly fruit pomace, into value-added products through fermentation and microbial processes. During my master’s studies in biotechnology, I worked with Streptomyces species, investigating their antibacterial potential and bioactive metabolite production. In my aquaculture research, I studied the protective and detoxification effects of green tea–derived compounds against pesticide-induced oxidative stress in aquatic organisms. Overall, my work integrates microbial biotechnology, bioactive compounds, and environmental sustainability within a circular bioeconomy framework.
