Congratulations to our new doctor!
On April 28th, 2022, the Council of the Discipline of Environmental Engineering, Mining and Energy conferred the degree of PhD with distinction on Jakub Bodys.
We would like to congratulate Jakub Bodys who on March 28th defended his thesis entitled "Non-equilibrium two-phase model of transcritical CO2 flow for ejector design in state-of-the-art refrigeration systems". The thesis was supervised by: promoter Prof. Jacek Smołka, co-promoter Prof. Krzysztof Banasiak (NTNU, Norway), and assistant supervisor Michał Palacz, PhD. Prof. Daniel Sánchez García-Vacas from Universitat Jaume I in Spain and Prof. Giorgio Besagni from Politecnico di Milano in Italy were appointed as reviewers of the thesis.
Dr. Bodys continues his research work at KTC pursuing the ENOUGH project (Horizon2020) in the area of refrigeration systems using natural refrigerants for mobile applications.
