Business presentation of SEE students in High School

As part of the Business Presentation course conducted by Dr. Bogacka, students Sebastian Diego and Arda Eren Poyraz presented a presentation entitled "Weird and Wacky Invention" and "Where is everyone?" to the school students. The presentations were given in English and additionally by Sebastian in Spanish, and they received a great deal of interest from the school students.

Visit of Sustainable Energy Engineering students from the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy, Department of Waste Utilization Technology in Gliwice to the Maria Konopnicka Bilingual High School in Katowice took place on April 20th and was not only an opportunity for them to present interesting topics, but also a great way to establish contacts between the university and the school. The meeting was made possible thanks to the support of the school's director, Dr. Jacek Pruciak, and the initiative of English teacher, Mrs. Hanna Jeruzal, and our lecturer, Dr. Magdalena Bogacka.

This visit not only allowed the Sustainable Energy Engineering students to showcase their skills and knowledge gained during their classes, but also enabled them to establish contacts with teachers and students from the school. As a result, the students had the opportunity to talk to people from different backgrounds and broaden their horizons.

We are delighted that we could be guests at the school and that the students took on additional activities for their younger colleagues. This is one of the additional activities carried out on the SEE course. We wish the students further success in the fields of science, business, and presentations.
