Faculty of Biomedical Engineering

We are immensely proud to announce that students of Biomedical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology have joined the elite group of recipients of the prestigious Minister of Science and Higher Education Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year.

This exceptional distinction is awarded for outstanding scientific, artistic, and athletic achievements. In this year’s edition of the competition, a total of 402 of the best students from all over Poland were recognized. We are even more delighted by the fact that representatives of our faculty are among this honorable nationwide group. The laureates from Biomedical Engineering are:

- Maria Filipek,
- Maria Hankus,
- Hanna Zielonka.

Each of the awarded students will receive a one-time scholarship in the amount of 17,000 PLN. These funds represent not only significant financial support but, above all, the highest recognition for the hard work, past achievements, and the immense potential of our students for further scientific development. The university authorities, faculty members, and the entire academic community extend their warmest congratulations to the laureates.
