Investment project led by dr inż. Kamil Joszko
The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology will implement an investment project entitled "Establishment of a Comprehensive Laboratory for the Evaluation of Interventional Cardiology Devices" in 2025–2026. The project aims to create a modern infrastructure for the comprehensive mechanical evaluation of devices used in interventional cardiology, meeting the needs of the medical industry and the requirements of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
The project plans to purchase specialized research stations, including static and dynamic stent testing stations, balloon catheter testing stations, and delivery system testing stations.
