MINIATURA for Dr. Patrycja Romaniszyn-Kania
Dr. Patrycja Romaniszyn-Kania received funding from the National Science Center (NCN) MINIATURA-9 program for the project "Analysis of the activity of the reward and punishment system to metrorhythmic stimulations in the assessment of the behavioral and physiological response."
The primary objective of the project is to develop neuroimaging measurement methods for specific brain regions to assess the activation of the reward and punishment system, as well as to identify the neural correlates of auditory stimulation perception, based on objective physiological measures (fNIRS) and subjective psychological tests. An additional task, as part of the project's basic research, will be to assess the sensitivity of the reward and punishment system to intentional changes in auditory stimulation. This involves observing how the body responds physiologically to specific changes in the components of auditory stimulation, initially perceived as positive.
Congratulations!
