Prof. Marian Zembala Passed Away

We regret to inform that on 19 March 2022, Prof. Marian Zembala passed away. He was an outstanding cardiothoracic surgeon, a long-term director of the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases in Zabrze, minister of health, and also a great friend of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering. We express our sincere condolences to his family.
