Researchers from our Faculty among the World's TOP 2%!
Yesterday, Katowice hosted the 3rd Scientific Conference of the World's Top Scientists – TOP 2%, bringing together researchers with significant achievements and impact on the development of global science.
The event was attended by dr hab. inż. Anna Manowska, prof. PŚ, Vice-Dean of our Faculty, who ranked among the top 2% of the most cited scientists in the world. This distinction is a special confirmation of the importance of her research and her contribution to the development of modern science.

This year's conference provided an opportunity not only to meet distinguished representatives of the scientific world, but also to exchange experiences and discuss key challenges facing science and the economy today. Key topics included artificial intelligence, aviation, and space exploration.
We are particularly pleased that the presence of our Faculty's representative in this elite group is part of a broader success for our researchers.
The latest World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking also features other staff members of the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation:
- dr hab. inż. Anna Bluszcz, prof. PŚ
- dr hab. inż. Magdalena Tutak, prof. PŚ
- dr inż. Ewa Strzałkowska
This is a source of satisfaction and pride for our entire academic community. The inclusion of our staff in this prestigious ranking demonstrates that the research conducted at the Faculty holds its place in the international scientific domain and contributes to global discussions on modern technologies, safety, energy, and the future of industry.

We warmly congratulate all those honored and wish them continued scientific success!
