International Meeting at the Faculty: We Hosted Students from Taiwan!
On September 3, 2026, our Faculty had the immense pleasure of hosting students from the Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST), who are currently completing an internship at the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology.

The visit began with a meeting with the Deputy Dean for Science and Cooperation, who introduced the guests to the Faculty's structure, its scientific and teaching activities, and its successful international projects.


The program for this intensive day included visits to state-of-the-art laboratories across our departments:

Department of Electrical Engineering and Industrial Automation: Industrial Automation Laboratory as well as the Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Metrology Laboratory.

Department of Mining Mechanization and Robotisation: Industrial Process Robotics and Reverse Engineering Laboratory as well as the Mining Machinery Laboratory.

Department of Safety Engineering: Crisis Management Didactic and Training Laboratory.

Department of Applied Geology: X-Ray Research Laboratory and the Museum of Geological Deposits.
The program also featured a tour of the Museum of Geological Deposits.
