Nabór na Ambasadora Kariery UE na Politechnice Śląskiej – ruszamy!
The Silesian University of Technology, in cooperation with the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO), announces the recruitment for the position of EU Careers Ambassador for the academic year 2026/2027. This is a unique opportunity to represent the European Union at our University, gain valuable experience, and actively contribute to raising students’ awareness of career opportunities.

Why is it worth applying?
As an EU Careers Ambassador, you will:
- gain up-to-date knowledge about job and internship opportunities in EU institutions,
- build connections with students and ambassadors from across Europe,
- develop skills in public speaking, marketing and HR,
- participate in professional preparatory training and receive support from a mentor,
- meet representatives of EU institutions,
- receive a reference letter confirming your achievements.
Your responsibilities
- serving as a contact point for students interested in careers in the EU,
- organizing events and presentations and participating in job fairs,
- maintaining an active presence on social media,
- cooperating with university media and building networks,
- preparing mailings and disseminating information about EU job opportunities,
- answering questions related to recruitment to EU institutions.
Requirements
- organizing or participating in at least one event related to the ambassador role,
- dedicating a minimum of two hours per week to ambassador activities,
- maintaining regular contact with the EU Careers coordinator,
- participating in online training sessions organized by EPSO,
- reliably reporting completed tasks,
- strong communication, organizational and networking skills,
- willingness to learn and share knowledge.
Who can apply?
- citizens of EU Member States,
- individuals fluent in English and in the language of the country where they study,
- students of the Silesian University of Technology who will remain at the University for the entire duration of the programme (October 2026 – September 2027),
- candidates available to attend the mandatory training in October 2026.
Required documents
- CV in Europass format (in Polish),
- Motivation letter in Polish briefly explaining the motivation to participate in the programme.
