Dassault Systèmes is inviting students worldwide to design innovative solutions to some of today’s biggest sustainability challenges using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform free of charge. Global, future-facing and with sustainability at its core, Dassault Systèmes is well equipped to support the United Nations mission to build a more sustainable world and have selected 4 Sustainable Development Goals to address during the competition:

• Affordable and clean energy
• Sustainable cities and communities
• Responsible consumption and production
• Life below water

Who should get involved and why?

• Students of any year group, discipline or country, and in particular design, technology and engineering students
• Master the tools of digital transformation and become a top ranked profile for employers
• Free access to-end-to end cloud-based design solutions
• Mentoring from industry experts via the Dassault Systèmes Student Community 
• The chance for students to unleash their creativity and make a difference with their ideas

Students have until Friday 30 October 2020, 12.00 pm GMT (noon) to complete the short questionnaire here and submit their idea individually or as a team. They’ll be asked to explain their idea and how it works, their intended audience and how the idea addresses their chosen Sustainable Development Goal, as well as their plan to use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to bring their idea to life.
 
To get started, students should register and access their design software license for free before Friday 30 October 2020, 12.00 pm GMT (noon).
