Cooperation with business partners
Taking into account the Mission and Vision of the University, as defined in the Strategy of the Silesian University of Technology, and in order to meet the social and economic need to combine science with industry and the socio-economic environment, the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation establishes cooperation in the broadly understood area of research, utility, education, and social issues with numerous external entities.
This allows for the continuous development and improvement of the skills of the Faculty’s employees and provides an opportunity to transfer the latest knowledge to external stakeholders.

The cooperation agreements between the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation and external entities include, among others:

  • conducting and implementing joint programs, projects, development initiatives, and scientific, research, and implementation work at the European and national levels,
  • agreeing on and creating topics for research and development projects,
  • joint presentation and promotion of solutions resulting from cooperation between the parties to the agreement at domestic and foreign fairs, exhibitions, exchanges, conferences, symposia and other presentation events,
  • mutual promotion of information about the rights, tasks, and capabilities of the agreement parties,
  • cooperation regarding the employment of graduates and the organization of student internships,
  • exchange of experiences in the field of knowledge management, with particular emphasis on the issue of competence development.
We invite all external stakeholders to establish cooperation with the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation at the Silesian University of Technology.
