Abstract: The paper presents the results of analyses concerning the evaluation of the correctness of the operation of a developed protection algorithm
based on the detection of the operating state of high-voltage power lines with increased capacity, taking into account measuring process. The focus is on
comparing the correctness of operation of this algorithm with linear (ideal) protective transformers and with protective inductive transformers (current
and voltage), traditionally used in high-voltage networks.
