From 28 October to 3 November, as part of the celebrations of the European City of Science Katowice 2024, the Witch Week took place at the Silesian University of Technology.

The event was an opportunity for an interactive presentation of exciting and modern chemistry as well as talks with scientists from Silesian universities.

Among others, researchers from our Department were involved in the event.

On 29 October, the class ‘Spells to transform matter’ took place, which started with a short lecture and then participants had the opportunity to work in the laboratory. A detailed programme and description of the activities can be found here.
