Another defence in the Electrochemistry Group - Yevheniia Husak
On February 2, 2026, the public defence of the doctoral dissertation by mgr Yevheniia Husak took place, during which she successfully presented the results of her work entitled:
“Bioactive oxide coatings enriched in Ca, P, Si formed on magnesium via high‑voltage anodization”.
This remarkable achievement crowns an ambitious project carried out within the Joint Doctoral Program between the Silesian University of Technology and Sumy State University, supervised by Prof. Wojciech Simka and Prof. Maksym Pogorielov. 🌍🤝
The defence attracted a wide audience, and the dissertation was evaluated by an excellent group of Reviewers:
- Prof. Jacek Ryl, Gdańsk University of Technology
- Dr hab. Eng. Tomasz Buchwald, Poznan University of Technology
- Dr hab. Aleksandra Radtke, Prof. UMK, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń
The discussion was highly substantive and dynamic, likely due to the fact that Yevheniia’s work opens new perspectives for the development of bioactive oxide coatings.
