Scientists from the Silesian University of Technology participated in the Top 1000 Innovators in Silicon Valley.

We presented groundbreaking innovations from the Silesian University of Technology in the cradle of technology! We intensively discussed Artificial Intelligence and patents in the US. Key days included workshop sessions at Stanford University and a visit to Triple Ring Technologies Inc., where we discussed the entire process: from research to commercialization on the global market.

It is a great honor to represent the Silesian University of Technology in the global cradle of innovation. The visit to Silicon Valley gives us the opportunity to acquire key competencies that will enable even more dynamic development of our University," said Prof. Dawid Janas, PhD, DSc, Eng., from the Faculty of Chemistry, Silesian University of Technology, who presented the project "Tailored Nanomaterials for Groundbreaking Applications," which concerns methods for generating various types of nanomaterials with unique properties.

The participation of scientists from the Silesian University of Technology in the Top 1000 Innovators of Poland in Silicon Valley is a great success. Our teams demonstrated enormous potential in creating mature, innovative solutions. We brought to Poland not only valuable contacts but also a new approach and inspiration for further development and implementation of innovations. Furthermore, a working platform supporting technology transfer was launched, opening new opportunities for collaboration and research commercialization," summarized Prof. Anna Chrobok, PhD, DSc, Eng., Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education at the Silesian University of Technology.
