Mgr Karolina Winkler laureatką grantu w ramach IDUB

PhD student Karolina Winkler received funding for groundbreaking research under the IDUB program for the project "MXene-Based Electrochemical Sensors for Monitoring Salicylic Acid in Plant Responses and Pesticide Stress".


The project falls within the priority research area of ​​POB3 - Materials of the Future and concerns the development of an innovative electrochemical sensor based on functionalized MXene for detecting changes in salicylic acid (SA) in plants.


SA plays a key role in plant defense mechanisms. Monitoring its concentration enables rapid detection of environmental stress, allowing for timely intervention. Integration of the developed sensor with precision farming technologies will improve plant health monitoring, supporting environmentally friendly crop production.
