TOP2 publication with the participation of Electrochemistry Group
We are pleased to announce that last week (28/02/2025) the latest article was published with the participation of Prof. Wojciech Simka (Electrochemistry Group, SUT) in cooperation with a group from Northeastern University in Shenyang (China) led by Prof. Xiaopeng Lu. The publication entitled Comprehensive study on corrosion, wear and fatigue performance of low-porosity PEO coating on Mg alloy deals with the surface treatment of magnesium alloy AM50 in alkaline and neutral solutions with and without the addition of a zirconium salt.
The work was published in the prestigious Journal of Magnesium and Alloys (Impact Factor2024 = 15.8; CiteScore = 20.2), which, according to the Scopus database, is among the 2% of the most influential journals in the world (TOP2).
