Another student of the Electrochemistry Group was awarded a PhD degree!
Everyone has probably noticed that February is exceptionally warm this year. In the Electrochemistry Group, we believe that this may be partly related to the increase in the scientific potential of our country, thanks to the successfully defended doctoral thesis of M.Sc. Eng. Katarzyna Leśniak-Ziółkowska!
The defense started at 10.00 in the Faculty Council room in the presence of a large group of reviewers, supervisors, members of the Doctoral Committee, family, friends and those interested in the topic of the doctoral student's dissertation: A new generation of bacteriostatic/antibacterial surfaces obtained by the PEO method in suspensions of silver, copper and zinc compounds on implants dedicated to hard tissue.
The meeting was full of numerous interesting discussions and opinions about the doctoral thesis submitted for defense. The result of the deliberations was the decision to recommend awarding the degree of doctor of technical sciences to M.Sc. Eng. Katarzyna Leśniak-Ziółkowska and the distinction of her doctoral thesis. The doctoral degree in the formal sense will be acquired by the doctoral student after the resolution of the Chemical Engineering Discipline Council.
This is another great doctor promoted by our Electrochemistry Group. We hope that there will be as many of them as possible. Congratulations to our student and we wish you many fruit research in the future!
