The next edition of the Spring Meeting of the Youth Section of the Polish Chemical Society, which took place on May 3-7, 2023, is behind us.

Participants of this cyclical student conference had the opportunity to get acquainted with interesting lectures, as well as present the results of their own research in the form of oral presentations and poster sessions.

Among the delegation of students of our Faculty there were also our graduates and participants of our specialties: Inorganic Technology and Electrochemistry and Bioanalytics.

In addition, two of them presented the results of the LIDER/30/0116/L-11/19/NCBR/2020 project financed by the National Center for Research and Development (Project Manager: Maciej Sowa, PhD, Eng.; project value and co-financing amount PLN 1.5 million ). Presentation titles can be found below.

• Research on obtaining colored oxide layers as a result of the plasma electrolytic oxidation process on magnesium alloys (D. Szymura, A. Olesiński, M. Sowa, W. Simka) - Oral presentation

We are pleased to announce that the work of Julia Grzonka has been additionally appreciated in the form of an award for the best poster (according to the audience). This is not the only award won by the delegation of our students, because Natalia Siodłak also received the award of the commission.
