About us
Our group is devoted to developing and testing new solutions in the field of surface engineering and corrosion protection.
The scope of our research interests includes electrochemical surface treatments, anti-corrosion coatings, electrosynthesis and bioactivity enhancement of metallic biomaterials.
On our disposal there is a large variety of electrochemical surface modification techniques with special interest given to plasma electrolytic oxidation, electrodeposition from aqueous and non-aqeous environments as well as hybrid treatments. After developing a material or coating we put it to test to determine its worth or puzzle out its corrosion mechanism in aggressive environments.
