Analytical Chemistry Group
As part of its research activities, the Analytical Chemistry Group deals with research in the field of environmental, bioanalytical and food analysis. The conducted research tasks concern the analysis of the groups of compounds listed below with the use of sensitive ones and selective analytical procedures: analytical techniques used:
- liquid chromatography with a spectrophotometric detector, fluorescence and tandem mass spectrometer, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, X-ray spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectrometry, electrochemical techniques (voltamperometry)
- sample preparation techniques used: in. solid-liquid extraction, ultrasound assisted extraction, solid phase extraction, packed sorbent micro-extraction (MEPS), QuEChERS extraction tested
- samples: biological samples, environmental samples, food, plant tissues, cosmetics, dietary supplements
- marked compounds: pharmaceuticals, pesticides, flavonoids, polyphenolic acids, vitamins, biogenic amines, flame retardants, metabolites and degradation products of these compounds, metals
