BEFIB 2024 Conference

The BEFIB 2024 "XI International Symposium on Fiber Reinforced Concrete" took place in Dresden from 15 to 18.09.2024, with the aim of presenting and discussing the latest scientific and technological developments in the field of fiber reinforced concretes, the so-called fibrobeton.

The conference was attended by a doctoral student from our department, Julia Blazy, who presented the results of her dissertation research on the behavior of fiber concrete ground slabs under concentrated load in the poster session. Her work and presentation entitled: "Punching shear behavior of FRC ground slabs" was recognized by the participants of the BEFIB 2024 conference - Ms. Julia Blazy received the best poster award.
