The best engineering thesis in bioinformatics in Poland!
We are pleased to inform you that Ms. Eng. Kamila Szumała, a graduate of Biotechnology with a specialization in Bioinformatics, and at the same time a student implementing projects in our Department, won the main prize in the national competition for the best engineering thesis in bioinformatics! This competition is organized by the Polish Bioinformatics Society. Moreover, the work entitled "Evaluation of the effectiveness of the signaling pathway activation matrix using unsupervised machine learning techniques in scRNA-seq data" was carried out under the supervision of Joanna Żyła, PhD.
