Seminar: Seweryn Kalisz
On December 3, 2025, a scientific seminar was held at the Department of Data Science and Engineering, featuring a presentation by Seweryn Kalisz, BEng, MSc. The lecture, titled “Natural, Artificial or Illegible Text? Image Classification Using Deep Learning Models”, addressed the detection and categorization of texts within digital images.
The presentation discussed the performance of selected deep neural network architectures, supported by statistical testing. The results presented represent a continuation and extension of research previously showcased at the 39th European Simulation and Modeling Conference.
This research is conducted within the "Implementation Doctorate – Artificial Intelligence" program in collaboration with the industrial partner media-press.tv.
