Professor Henryk Palus Retires After 45 Years of Academic Service
During the Department’s recent seminar, we had the opportunity to thank Professor Henryk Palus, who is retiring after 45 years of academic and professional service.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dariusz Kania, who expressed his appreciation for Professor Palus’s long-standing contribution to the development of the Faculty, as well as for his research and teaching activities. The Head of the Department, Professor Joanna Polanska, presented commemorative gifts and offered sincere wishes for health, well-being, and fulfillment in this new stage of life.
Professor Palus’s research interests include color image acquisition and processing, computer and machine vision, color representation methods, image vignetting models, image quality assessment, and the design of vision systems.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Professor Henryk Palus for 45 years of dedication, commitment, and inspiration. We wish him good health, satisfaction, and many joyful moments in his retirement.
