Our representatives at the London Meeting on Computational Statistics!
On 11-13 June the first London Meeting on Computational Statistics was held at University College London. At the invitation of Dr. Samuel Livingstone, the main organiser, the meeting was attended by Joanna Tobiasz, PhD and Joanna Żyła, PhD. Dr. Tobiasz gave a presentation entitled "Machine learning in support of breast cancer subtyping", while Dr. Żyła presented her work in the form of a poster. The research results of our scientists were met with great interest. The meeting was a great opportunity to learn about the latest theoretical and practical statistical approaches, make new scientific acquaintances and exchange experiences.
We would like to congratulate Dr. Tobiasz and Dr. Żyła on their successful presentations and fruitful participation in the meeting and thank Dr. Livingstone for inviting representatives from our Department!
