Our Ph.D. student’s internship at Yale University!

We are pleased to inform you that a Ph.D. student of our Department, mgr inż. Aleksandra Suwalska spent three months (February-April 2023) in New Haven (USA) on a scientific internship at Yale University. The projects were carried out at the Yale Cancer Center, Breast Medical Oncology, under the supervision of prof. Lajos Pusztai, MD, DPhil, and concerned the analysis of somatic and germline mutations in patients with early-onset breast cancer. The internship made it possible to gain knowledge and experience in the analysis of data obtained by DNA sequencing, which will certainly be used in future projects of the Ph.D. student. Congratulations, and we wish Aleksandra further success!
