Internship in PAN
From June 23 to July 4, Joanna Żyła, PhD, completed a research internship at the Institute of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPI PAN) – one of the most prestigious research centers in Poland, specializing in advanced computational methods and data analysis.
During her stay, Joanna Żyła became acquainted with modern tools developed at IPI PAN, including the Monte Carlo Feature Selection method, which supports the analysis of large-scale biological datasets. The internship also provided an opportunity to present her own research on signal pathway analysis in scRNA-Seq (single-cell RNA sequencing) data, which constitutes a key part of her upcoming habilitation thesis.
The visit resulted in the establishment of further scientific collaboration, enabling the application of state-of-the-art computational methods to the biological research conducted by Joanna Żyła.
