International cooperation in action!
We are proud to announce that our PhD student Karolina Kuliś has recently completed an internship at the Department of Biological Sciences at Oakland University, focusing on genomic data analysis.
During her stay, she gave a lecture to master's students entitled “Invisible waves, visible marks: how cells respond to radiation,” in which she presented the complete process-from obtaining transcriptomic data to advanced bioinformatic analysis.
In addition to the lecture, she met with professors from Oakland University to discuss potential avenues for future collaboration, presenting current research directions and sample projects being carried out in our department.
She also had the opportunity to establish cooperation with a local research group working in bioinformatics, contributing to the Type 1 Diabetes Exomes Project (T1D Exomes), which combines knowledge and ideas from various fields.
We are delighted that our young scientists are bringing innovation, curiosity, and a spirit of collaboration to the global scientific community!
