Gliwice Scientific Meetings 2025
On November 20-21, the National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice and the Silesian University of Technology organized the Gliwice Scientific Meetings. During this conference, several employees of our department presented the results of their research in the form of scientific posters:
- Karolina Kuliś, BEng, MSc, presented a poster entitled “Post-GWAS gene and pathway integration reveals immune-related mechanisms underlying type 1 diabetes",
- Marcel Ochocki, BEng, MSc, presented a work entitled “Comparative analysis of 5'-UTRs capture efficiency across common commercial WES target enrichment kits”,
- Dawid Zamojski, BEng, MSc, presented a poster entitled “Development of a Polish medical language corpus”.
The work of Joanna Żyła, BEng, PhD, and student Klaudia Skutnik, entitled “When AI reads gene: Large Language Models in Gene Set Analysis,” was awarded the first-degree best poster award, for which we offer our special congratulations!
