ATTD Conference in Barcelona
We are pleased to announce that our PhD student Karolina Kuliś from our Department participated in the international Advanced Technologies & Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD) conference, which took place March 11–14 in Barcelona, Spain.
Her research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine, with her doctoral project focusing on studies related to type 1 diabetes. Participation in ATTD provided a unique opportunity not only to deepen her knowledge of the latest technologies and medical advancements but also to gain a better understanding of the disease itself and the patients’ perspectives.
Direct contact with experts, physicians, and other researchers allowed for the acquisition of valuable experience that will certainly contribute to the further development of the research being conducted. The opportunity to hear from experts from around the world and learn about the latest advances in diabetology was extremely valuable and will certainly have a significant impact on the future direction of the doctoral work.
We are delighted that our doctoral students can participate in such prestigious events and develop their skills in an international scientific community by combining the fields of computer science and medicine!
