Our team at EMIM 2026

PhD student Anna Mrukwa from our department is participating in the European Molecular Imaging Meeting (EMIM) 2026.

During the conference, Anna is presenting a poster entitled “Can proper vessel segmentation improve early-stage lung cancer diagnosis”. The work focuses on the role of accurate vessel segmentation and advanced image analysis methods in supporting earlier and more reliable lung cancer diagnosis.

As part of EMIM 2026, she is also taking part in scientific sessions and discussions devoted to applications of medical imaging and artificial intelligence in clinical research. We are very happy to be a part of the meeting!
