Formal habilitation ceremony of our colleague
We are pleased to announce that Michał Marczyk, BEng, PhD, DSc, a member of our department, took part in the formal habilitation promotion ceremony held on May 24, 2025, at the Education and Congress Center of the Silesian University of Technology.
This year's event was particularly special, as it coincided with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of our university’s founding. During the ceremony, 35 habilitated doctors and 196 PhD graduates, who obtained their degrees in the current or previous year, were officially promoted. The event was opened by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Marek Pawełczyk, who emphasized in his address the importance of the promotion as a culmination of many years of scientific effort and research passion.
We sincerely congratulate Michał Marczyk, BEng, PhD, DSc, and wish him continued success in his scientific and academic endeavors!
