"Spread your wings" mentee wins OOWEE

Tomasz Kawalec, a student of class IIIB at the Academic Secondary Comprehensive School of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, has become a laureate of the National Olympiad of Electrical and Electronic Knowledge (OOWEE) in the field of computer science.

Tomasz is a mentee of Profesor Joanna Polańska in the mentoring program "Rozwiń Skrzydła" ("Spread Your Wings"). Thanks to his hard work and the support of his mentor, he achieved success in this prestigious competition organized by the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. The Olympiad consisted of several challenging stages, with only twelve participants from across Poland reaching the final round.
