Prof. Joanna Polańska at the 2nd GUMed Clinical Research Day
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Joanna Polańska participated in the 2nd GUMed Clinical Research Day, a conference organized by the Medical University of Gdańsk on the occasion of World Clinical Trials Day. The event took place on May 15, 2024, in the Prof. Zdzisław Kieturakis Auditorium at the Center for Invasive Medicine and consisted of four panels dedicated to various aspects of clinical research: evidence-based medicine, clinical trials studies, patients participating in clinical trials, and screening and treatment of lung cancer.
Prof. Joanna Polańska delivered a presentation titled "Mathematical Modelling to Support AI-based Systems for Imaging Diagnosis of Early-Stage Lung Cancer", which made a significant contribution to the discussions held during the conference, showcasing modern approaches to medical diagnostics.
